Spent my Christmas at a stunning historical property that has been beautifully restored. The architecture was breathtaking, and it was easy to feel transported back in time. The staff were friendly and always willing to help. One of the best aspects was the delicious Sri Lankan curry served for breakfast. The breakfast was also served promptly. Another great feature was the central location which was convenient to explore nearby attractions easily. To top it off, I enjoyed the serene atmosphere that could easily make one forget the busy city life.
While the room was spacious, it was quite basic, and the furnishings were quite old. The bathroom needs updating, and the lighting was not sufficient.

Lovely refurbished colonial house, friendly staff, great chef, snooker table, decent outdoor pool, impressive building.
Nothing negative to say.

Located a bit far from the city, it was nice and quiet. The food was yummy, we especially enjoyed the Sri Lankan dishes. The staff was friendly and helpful, and our room had a mosquito plug and complimentary water bottles.
The WiFi was spotty at best, making communication with family and friends during the holidays difficult. The bed was old, uncomfortable, and needed replacing.

I had a fantastic stay at this place! The location in the garden was great, surrounded by lush greenery. The service was top-notch, with the staff falling over themselves to help, especially the manager. The room amenities were impressive, from the ironing facilities to the mini-bar. The free Wi-Fi in the rooms was a convenient feature, and I loved the fact that there was a dining table and a patio in my room. The staff made me feel at home, and the overall atmosphere was welcoming and comfortable.
This hotel is perfect for families.

We had a wonderful stay with amazing staff who were welcoming and helpful. The hotel had great facilities including a lovely pool and garden. The food was delicious with Sri Lankan dishes on offer. The atmosphere was cozy with fires and candles all around.
Nothing for us.

The historical villa boasts of a stunning decor which remains true to its roots. With an emphasis on attention to detail, the antique rooms are clean, decorated with feminine touches and well equipped with modern amenities. The delicious breakfast served is a perfect start to the day and the friendly staff ensure guests feel like royalty. The peaceful setting among lovely gardens presents a great option for families with children. Guests can enjoy a dip in the clean swimming pool and take advantage of the excellent facilities.
The hotel’s location outside the main city could prove inconvenient for those who wish to explore the bustling city center regularly.
